Religious Hypocracy, Shirley Phelps-Roper
So, if you haven’t heard, Heath ledger is in fact dead. To make things even worse for those in his family the fundamentalist Shirley Phelps-Roper, a controversial “Christian” (the reason I put quotes around Christian is because I don’t ever remember a single piece in any scriptural passage that says that you can judge anyone, including people that are homosexual), is attempting to ruin any peace for those mourning who she deems a sinner and, currently, a citizen of hell. In the gospel of Matthew it says “Judge not, that ye be not judged” Matt 7:1. Not even Jesus of Nazareth Judged, when confronted with a mob who had brought before him an adulterer, he said in john 8:7 “He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.” Now, you may or may not know that Shirley has an illegitimate son, so that was fornication, and last time I checked, fornication is a sin that is much akin to homosexual relationships in the fact that neither are condoned by scripture and both are against true Christian writ.
In a news article by ABC news online she is quoted as saying “Heath Ledger is now in Hell, and has begun serving his eternal sentence there…” 1
It is possible that Shirley has a different version of the bible, something like the so called “Wicked Bible” which contained a single error in print, it said “thou shalt commit adultery” instead of “thou shalt not.” Perhaps her version of the bible has a different version of the ten commandments that says something like thou shalt not let a mourning family have peace. Or what you think is right just because you say like the crusaders did “God wills it!” and it is irrefutable because you profess to know the will of god.
Had Shirley any inkling of the methods of god she would not be so antagonistic of any person, for did Jesus say hate the sinner and love only the righteous. Nope, he in fact said in Matt 5:44 “But I say unto you, love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;”. O.K. so even the worst of enemies you’re supposed to love. interesting that this is less than a hated enemy this is a man who was just doing his job in entertaining the nation.
In conclusion this inconceivably naive, hateful, scornful, shortsighted, cruel, unchristian “woman” needs one more piece of scripture to show her the error that she is in (though I doubt even if she read and could comprehend past her enraged mind and illogical thought process it would do any good). Didn’t Jesus say in Matt 25:40 “Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” So it is a scriptural fact that what you do to any of your brethren you’ve done it to Jesus. Maybe someone should tell her that if she were a real Christian she would not be condemning anyone of going to hell, and that in doing so she is saying that Jesus is going to hell.

Your argument is flawed, you can’t use logic around religion. Everybody knows that, because if Jesus says the old laws no longer apply then homosexuality is okay (Because that was supposedly an old law). Even though the term for homosexual didn’t exist until a little over a hundred years ago or so.

Maybe logic is just what she needs her imperfections make the very perfection she clams to have flawed with hypocrisy, she strives for an idealistic world that is from her own mind and not from gods her narrow mindedness prevents any small inclination of truth to come across over her right winged views.
