Jesus Was a Liberal
As a young lad I was told what was bad
And the things that I had wouldn’t save me from sad
And I was told that we’re all gods children
To err was for man but watch your intention
Had Jesus been here he’d only
Help the poor and the sick and the lonely
He would do whatever to decrease
Suff’ring from sick and to halt their decease
He’d heal the blind and the lame would then walk
But we can do the same and instead we just talk
About how its unfair to help those in need
And have the rich pay from their pockets a seed
Of their masses of fortune to pay
For their brethren to live one more day
What I learnt as a child was to help the least
And now you’re corrupted by the beast
Of lust and greed and wouldn’t spare
A pittance of your wealth, show that you care
Its a pity to teach a child
What in manhood you reviled
That god would want us to care for all
A chance we have now, I heard a call
To follow gods plan and help without gall
And give u(.)s(.) the right of life, health care for all.
The fathers of the country have said
But on their words you have tread
In the independence declaration
Life was the first right for gods creation
We were taught as children to care for the least of these, now that we are moving in to do that, you revile and scorn and hiss but would Jesus really want you to fight the help of the poor, the very poor he spent his life serving? You better be clear, are you a christian republican or a republican who also believes in Christ? If you’re the former then religion comes first and in Jesus’ ministry he called for all to help the poor, the rich and even the least of your brethren… if you’re the latter you believe in republican values and some christian values that also conform to your ideology yet cling to religion though you hang off the edge of hypocrisy over the pit of your sins that you have pushed over the edge of your life that you won’t have to atone for until death. Others will die because of people like you and your selfish hateful ways will disable many from getting the very things that were claimed as rights before this country was founded. Enjoy your hypocrisy and fooling your children into believing things that they’re not supposed to believe in adulthood, helping the poor, using the constitution as a guide, instead follow glen beck and his army of idiots to the end of your meaningless life and die an ignorant bastard for which only the most sincere will mourn because of your wasted tenure on this planet.
